The link between emotion an body

The Link Between Emotion and Body!

It’s true! The present emotion you are experiencing affects the state your body is in. In this Kevala Yoga post, we are going to share the links that your body has with your emotional state. Following the ways you can unblock these tensions!

Back:
Our back provides the support system for our physical body. When it comes to stressing about money, family, relationships, and work this can cause some back pains. The reason why you may be experiencing this is the lack of support you are feeling around you. Your root chakra is all about feeling supported and connected to your physical health. There can be tension within your shoulders also which indicates the strain you feel with responsibilities.

Neck:
The neck is the area in the body that is the link between logic and feelings! When you are at a point of inflexible thinking this can cause tightness in your neck and throat! Your throat chakra is the area that allows you to speak your truth and be able to vocally state your opinion safely. When there is lack of communication you block this chakra!

Heart:
When emotions such as grief, loss, betrayal, rejection, sadness – your heart and lungs may feel like they are tightening/closing up. When we are not expressing love, your heart and lungs are deeply affected. By giving out love – your will be rewarded with more love. Your heart chakra opens your body to feel more alive and worthy of love!

Digestion:

Feelings such as shame can greatly affect the digestion area of your body. This causes low self-esteem and discipline in our lives. Also the area in our hips may feel strain when we are fearing to move forward and make changes in our lives!

Body:
Fear plays a huge part in the tension we find in our body. If you are experiencing fear at any point, Kevala Yoga is a great place to start! We offer fantastic classes in a non-judgemental environment where you can learn to release any burdens. By releasing fear, you can definitely feel safe and secure in the life you are living.

The process of releasing tension within the body is something you can do today! Kevala Yoga suggests that you start meditation and yoga! These two tools are fantastic ways to release any sort of guilt, fear, tension, issues you are facing. Meditation allows you to be able to move your mind from the negative into a more present positive state. Yoga gently moves your body physically to release these tense places.
